This is a real working weathervane. They are all made with pride by a small family business located in the US.
The weathervane is made of a strong 16 gauge steel.
The top of the weathervane pivots on a strong stainless steel pin.
The wind-cups have a sealed ball bearing that will spin with the slightest breeze.
The entire weathervane is covered with coppervein colored powder coat paint. Baked on Paint.

It's awesome, I was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, so I shared pictures with other veterans, the response was most positive. Thank you

Huey helicopter
It is a gift so I can't give it 5 stars because I didn't take it out of the box. My husband will love it. He was an engine man on helicopters in the army. Huey is his favorite

I purchased this weathervane for my husband who flew on a Huey in Viet Nam. He loved it! Would definitely consider a future purchase when shopping for a unique gift.

Huey Weathervane
This is a very nicely made weathervane at a very reasonable price. The powder coating should last for quite some time based on another weathervane I have with a similar powder coating. The sealed bearing makes the wind cups spin quite easily. Installing the garden pole in a perfectly vertical position is critical to getting the helicopter to turn into the wind.
