This is a real working weathervane. They are all made with pride by a small family business located in the US.
The weathervane is made of a strong 16 gauge steel.
The top of the weathervane pivots on a strong stainless steel pin.
The wind-cups have a sealed ball bearing that will spin with the slightest breeze.
The entire weathervane is covered with black powder coat paint. Baked on Paint.

My Son really likes the P 51 and we both think the optical illusion it gives on having wings really adds the thought and quality of the item!!

Love it. I painted the Mustang silver minus the propeller to have it stand out from the rest of the weathervane. I've wanted a weathervane for decades and finally saw this and couldn't resist.
